You have received a new letter.

 

In early December, I made a brief stop in Spain for a few days and took the time to visit Sergio. He asked me if there would be a year-end recap video for 2025 too. I said, "There will be... probably."

However, a glass of wine on the eve of my departure led me to impulsively reset my old phone. All the archived memories were erased along with it, dissolving into the Apple icon on the screen. When memories are no longer clips you can replay at will, those moments that remain vivid in mind become all the more precious. So this time, I hope soundwaves can traverse mountains and seas, allowing me to read this letter to the world, aloud, for you. May the voice narrate gently, like a figure reappearing from a painting, to say to you, far away, "Long time no see!"
